The Devil in Mrs. Depp, Part I

Amber Heard is getting a bit of attention these days with her role (besides co-starring in a home video featuring wine, a bloated angry sex symbol, broken cabinet doors and a poorly positioned iphone) in the billion dollar movie Aquaman.
The articles featured this month in Shape and Cosmopolitan Magazines tells a story from the perspective of an abuse victim and the reason Ms. Heard is actually famous.
Below is a list of publicly known events during a relationship and marriage that shows why this relationship may have been, let's say..a dumb idea.
                                         
Starring together in Rum Diary in 2009, Johnny Depp was led by his cock into a mistake for the ages.  They fucked around, undetected until June, 2012 when Depp dumped his longtime girlfriend and mother to his children.

 Heard brought excitement and exhibitionism into the stale world of a stiff armed, guitar plucking wannabe rock star who couldn't find enough excitement in the occupation that pays his bills.
Heard had previous issues with domestic violence with a girlfriend not long before she snagged Mr. Depp. But who cares? The broad brought chicks home. He bought her a horse so they could ride together on the set of The Lone Ranger.

Soon the whirlwind overtook Depp, sucking all of his looks away and they married.

In 2014 the engagement was announced. 

"Of course they couldn't be happier to be engaged and excited to share the rest of their lives together," a source told the publication at the time. "Amber has really taken well to the kids and really enjoys spending time with them. And she's even taken Lily shopping on her own for some bonding time."

Good to know. 

Who didn't think this would last forever? Everyone else, including Depp's friend Doug Stanhope. He later famously stated "My girlfriend, Bingo, and I have known Johnny Depp for a few years now. We have watched Amber Heard fuck with him at his weakest — or watched him at his weakest from being fucked with — for the entire time we’ve known him.

And we didn’t say shit. Because he’s Johnny Depp. It isn’t my place to name people who agreed with us but I couldn’t name one person closely associated with him that didn’t feel the same. But nobody said shit to his face." 

She sued him. Then dropped it. More on that in Part II.

During this disaster of a marriage, road blocks suddenly popped up. One pertained to dogs in Australia. Mr. Johnny looks thrilled to be dragged into this shit.

Another issue that sometimes derails a happy marriage: When the Groom's children and mother despise you. According to TMZ, his children and mother thought "Amber treated their father poorly. And that she was using him to further her fame, career and for money."

Johnny appeared in his usual garb on Jimmy Kimmel to offer more commentary on the dog situation.

As we witnessed the wine and drug induced changes and seeming breakdown of one of Hollywood's greatest actors, a playful attempt was made by Depp to bring some humor to this tense situation at home. The video from the show "Overhaulin'" shows that may have been an impossible task when your woman's first reaction is to punch and throw up the middle finger.

Another sign this would be forever, was an afternoon shortly after  he had found out via accountants that he had lost millions due to bad investments. This era included according to Heard, Johnny removing a portion of his finger to write messages on the wall in blood.
                                                 I guess it's a way to make a statement.
A video was mysteriously released to TMZ and visual proof of her claims. Nothing says I Love You like secretly recording your spouse during a moment of anger and grief.

What happened after the phone was discovered and in the months after? Who knows. Photos would be released soon after a big announcement was made that seemed to answer that question. But did they?
Text messages between Heard and Depp's assistant Stephen detail abuse, whether it be physical or emotional. And it could be that he threatened to lower her allowance.
"He wants to see you so much. He's distraught."
Heard texts back, "Obviously he has no idea what he did or the extent that he did it. If someone was truly honest with him about how bad it really was, he'd be appalled. I'm sad that he doesn't have a better way to really know the severity of his actions yesterday," she continues. 

"Unfortunately for me, I remember in full detail everything that happened."
